Neal Latt is attorney and principal at Latt Law Group in Old Town, Eureka. His practice areas include land use/real estate law, business law, probate, wills & trusts and civil litigation. In addition to his J.D., Mr. Latt received a certificate of specialization in Environmental Law from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, where his coursework included Land Use Regulation, Water Law and Toxics Law. A 32-year resident of Humboldt County, Mr. Latt spent twelve years in Orleans as a commercial organic farmer, where he grew and sold 80 tons of fresh vegetables and fruits yearly, produced from a river bar adjacent to the Klamath. He graduated from Yale College and Deep Springs College, is Of Counsel and a former director of Food for People, a member of the Kiwanis Club of Henderson Center, and since 2014, Treasurer of the Humboldt County Bar Association. He enjoys spending time with family, reading, cycling, hiking and wild mushroom hunting.
